Weekend Gaming: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Been a few weeks of zero-gaming for me, but slowly turning that around. I've been back at it with Majora's Mask on the 3DS and now further along in the game than I have ever been before. Fairly certain I'll be seeing this one to completion finally.

Due to some family stuff, I haven't been around my consoles for the past few weeks. I've had my portables with me, but just didn't have the oomph to fire them up. Breaking out of that rut though, and sinking as much time as I can manage into Majora's Mask on the 3DS.

I'm torn on this game. I am enjoying it, and the 3DS version is quite stellar. It's just more of a like, not love for me. I'm not sure if it's the game's structure, or the fact that it feels like an Ocarina of Time add-on. Whatever the case, I'm not head over heals for Link's adventure this time around.

I don't want to seem down on the game, it's just that it's not grabbing me like other Zelda titles have. There have been plenty of goosebump moments over the 15 hours I've sunk into the game so far, and I'm happy to keep at it for as long as it takes to see it through.

Not sure which Zelda I'll turn to after wrapping this one up. Really itching to set sail with Wind Waker HD, but I kind of want to scratch off Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword first.

I'll guess we'll see when we get there.

Hope everyone has been gaming strong, and with a little luck, I'll be back on for some Borderlands Tuesday this week.

Until then, keep on keeping on.
